RESPONSIBILITIESAssist scientists with experiment design, setup, monitoring, and data collectionSupport greenhouse and laboratory studies involving plants and pathogensPerform treatment applications and assist with planting, processing, and disposal activities in compliance with USDA guidelinesCollect, record, and organize research data accurately and efficientlyMaintain clean, organized, and compliant laboratory and greenhouse environmentsParticipate in project meetings and assist with timelines and scheduling coordinationCommunicate project updates, issues, and progress with team members and leadershipCollaborate effectively within a multi-project team environment while also managing independent tasks***Drug screen & criminal background check will be required **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** EDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related fieldQUALIFICATIONS 1–2 years of greenhouse and/or agricultural laboratory experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to follow protocols and work in regulated research environmentsTeam-oriented mindset with strong communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently when neededSUMMARYWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Biologist to support greenhouse, laboratory, and controlled-environment research activities within a leading crop science organization.
