Appropriate CT Certification credentials (049 certification); Exemplary communication skills to be used when: Teaching and meeting with students, parents, families, and staff; Writing formal and informal letters, messages, plans, and comments; Collaborating with students, parents, families, and staff to organize and implement all school-wide music performances and various assemblies. Proven musicianship skills in vocal performance; Ability to choose age-appropriate repertoire, culturally responsive repertoire; Ability to plan and organize work schedule and set priorities and work independently and with a sense of urgency; Excellent classroom management skills with both small and large groups; Ability to handle and treat the information confidentially.
