Required Knowledge and Skills: Electrical / instrumentation (E&I) background with demonstrated quality experience across HV/MV/LV distribution, switchgear (including GIS), transformers and rotating machines, battery energy storage systems, cable and terminations, grounding, protective relaying, and I&C systems, with familiarity with applicable codes and test practices (e.g., NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, IEEE, NETA); power generation or similar heavy industrial construction and inspection experience preferred. Verify materials, workmanship, and specification/code requirements with emphasis on E&I scopes - HV/MV/LV distribution, switchgear including 34.5 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), transformers and rotating machines, battery energy storage systems (BESS), cable and terminations, grounding and lightning protection, protective relaying, and instrumentation and control systems - and review schedules for timely PQP implementation.
