p>Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for trouble shooting of machinery to minimize down time Responsible for working within/assisting in the development & implementation of PM programs and equipment upgrades Record and document time, work order completion information and parts usage on CMMS work order system Create work orders and assist in the planning of jobs and projects All work performed and completed may require skills such as electrical troubleshooting, Power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, plumbing, fabrication, and other areas as needed Must practice good communication skills with Maintenance Team Members, Production Supervisors and Management Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a maintenance technician (3+ years); manufacturing setting is a requirement Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must have previous Hydraulic experience, Electrician experience a Plus Strong decision making, problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills A team player who constructively contributes to a positive environment and is able to work alone Good interpersonal communication skills Excellent technical skills, mechanical aptitude and ability Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
