Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Has training in NM studies such as Nuclear Stress Test, Bone Scans, HIDA Scans, Lung scans, Thyroid Scans, Liver Scans, and Brain Scans</li><li>Prepares facilities in accordance with procedural requirements; calibrates equipment as required by the institution.</li><li>Calculate, measure and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used and disposed, using computer and following physician’s prescription.</li><li>Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals orally or by injection or inhalation.</li><li>Starts patient IV's.</li><li>Explaining the imaging procedure to patients, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort while placing them in the appropriate position for scanning.</li><li>Accomplish computer processing and imaging enhancement.</li><li>Provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.</li><li>Monitoring the departments daily, monthly, and quarterly QC under the guidelines of the NRC.</li><li>Thrives in an environment where exceptional customer service, communication, and teamwork are top priorities</li><li>A supportive management team</li><li>A comprehensive Electronic Medical Record System (EPIC)</li></ul>

Responsibilities:
Major Duties:<ul><li>Provide expertise in advanced general diagnostic radiology procedures, to include, but not limited to, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA), Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound.</li><li>Obtain history for general radiographic diagnoses, reviews indicated laboratory tests results, and assesses severity of illness.</li><li>Oversee the radiographic examination, ensuring the correct radiographic procedures are conducted, relating the symptom(s) to the pain and illness of the patient.</li></ul>Perform other duties as assigned
