Core Responsibilities** + Provide comprehensive women's health care, including gynecologic and obstetric services, under physician collaboration + Conduct patient histories, physical exams, assessments, and develop treatment plans + Manage routine gynecologic care, prenatal and postpartum visits, and contraceptive counseling + Assist in surgical procedures and support surgical care as appropriate + Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic test results + Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and wellness + Document care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record + Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care teams to ensure continuity of care + Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow evidence-based clinical guidelines **Requirements:** + Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program + Current or eligible Washington State Physician Assistant license + NCCPA certification + DEA registration (or ability to obtain) + BLS certification **Preferred:** + Prior experience in OB-GYN or women's health (new graduates with strong interest encouraged to apply) + Experience working in a team-based, integrated healthcare system **Skills & Attributes** + Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities + Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment + Cultural sensitivity and dedication to health equity **About Bellingham:** Bellingham, WA is the perfect blend of endless outdoor recreation, urban living, strong schools, great shopping & cuisine, and so much more! **Description** **Job Title** **Physician Assistant - OB-GYN** **Location | Bellingham, Washington** **Job Summary** PeaceHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled **Physician Assistant (PA)** to join our **OB-GYN team** in Bellingham, Washington.
