The unit cares for patients with tracheostomies, chest tubes, central lines, wound vacs, alcohol withdrawal, diabetes, kidney disease/dialysis, and dementia/delirium. Postoperative vascular and podiatry patients are cared for, with occasional postoperative overflow from orthopedic, ENT, and general cases.
