Job DescriptionProvidence Womens and Childrens Services is seeking board-eligible/board-certified physician, full-time at 1.0 FTE to join Providence Newborn Hospitalist Service.
You will be part of a collaborative team of OB/Gyn Physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Nurse Practitioners as you provide outpatient clinical services, and inpatient consults with support from OB Hospitalists for the newly formed Maternal Fetal Medicine team. The 523-bed medical center provides some of the most advanced services in the region, including the only movable intraoperative magnetic imaging on the West Coast, and is home to the well-respected Providence Heart Institute and Providence Brain and Spine Institute.
p>The Oregon Region Hospice Program is responsible for the medical direction and oversight of hospice services throughout the region's ministries, including care provided in home settings and intermediate care, assisted living and acute care facilities. The Hospice Physician must be a strong leader, be comfortable with bedside care for highly symptomatic patients, and most importantly, support a culture of trust and collaboration amongst all hospice disciplines in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for all.
Providence has a robust continuum of psychiatric services including adult inpatient, adult outpatient, PHP/IOP, addiction services, inpatient and outpatient geriatric, inpatient and outpatient child & adolescent, DBT, eating disorder programs and outpatient interventional psychiatry with esketamine, TMS and ECT. There are additional opportunities to provide consultation on medically complex patients from our colleagues in cardiology at the Providence Heart Institute, oncology at the Providence Cancer Center, neurology at the Providence Brain and Spine Institute and obstetrics at the Providence Women's Clinic.
New clinicians have a 1-year guarantee between $300,000 and $334,000 with upside earning potential. The department consists of seven psychiatrists, four psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, and fifteen therapists.
Our growing department consists of a total 20 Obstetrician Gynecologists, 15 Nurse Midwives, 4 Womens Health Nurse Practitioners and 3 Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians who all work collaboratively to provide personalized care during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. We provide services at both local hospitals PeaceHealth Southwest and Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center.
New clinicians have a 1-year guarantee between $285,000 and $317,000 (for 1.0 FTE) with upside earning potential. • Active involvement in education of medical students and residents with opportunities to be involved in clinical research .
