An automatic suspension will be imposed if the applicants license authorizing him to practice expires or is revoked or suspended, if professional liability insurance expires, if the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration expires or is revoked or suspended from prescribing scheduled drugs, if the practitioner does not reapply to the Medical Staff according to the time frames specified, if the practitioner is excluded from a state or federally funded health care program, or if medical records are not completed in a timely fashion. Minimum Qualifications Education Successful completion of an approved advanced practice registered nurse program; must have a master's degree, post-master's certificate, or doctoral degree ; Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska or by a compact state under the Nurse Licensure Compact Act; current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the State of Nebraska.
