Provides clinical leadership and performs clinical responsibilities appropriate to the assigned department, which may include direct patient care or remote ambulatory nursing services, including telephone triage, electronic patient communications, desktop clinical assessment, care coordination, and other assigned clinical functions. Depending on the assigned department or service line, direct clinical care responsibilities may be delivered through in-person patient care or through remote nursing services, including telephone triage, electronic patient communication, desktop clinical assessment, and care coordination within the Registered Nurse scope of practice.
