Skills include accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care and management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drip management without titration, PICC line management, pre/post cardiac cath, tracheostomy care, wound care and wound vac, and use of rapid response and code teams. The facility supports a 36-bed unit with a daily census of 36 and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams.
