The clinician must independently assess patients, review imaging studies, formulate treatment plans, and place orders while managing 20-40 active neurosurgical patients per shift including up to 10 new consults and 10 transfer center consults. Primary duties include completing admissions, conducting history and physical examinations, and providing consultations for diverse neurosurgical conditions encompassing trauma, tumor, spine, functional, vascular, and pediatric cases.
