JOB DUTIES: Complete nutritional assessments utilizing the Nutrition Care Process for AACH hospital patients per Nutritional Services policy Complete nutritional assessments utilizing the Nutrition Care Process and appropriate MDS sections for Community Care Center residents per Federal, State and Facility Regulations Provide inpatient instructions appropriate to prescription and individualized to the patient Provide dietary counseling to patients family and/or caretakers Collaborate in patients care by acting as consultant to physicians, nurses, medical social workers and other para-medical persons in all areas of normal and therapeutic nutrition. MACHINES, TOOLS EQUIPMENT USED: Computer, iPad, copier, and fax machine EDUCATION, TRAINING EXPERIENCE Registered Dietitian, licensed in the state of Ohio Ability to educate clients of diverse backgrounds and education levels Ability to work with all types of people Ability to make appropriate decisions Ability to flex hours and assignments to complete all aspects of job in a limited schedule Must be computer literate to complete task(s) as required.
