Other duties may include but are not limited to: Performs tasks associated with feeding tube consults including placing, repositioning, and replacing tubes, inserting, and repairing nasal retainment device, and other duties related to tube insertion and maintenance, as applicable; Performs tasks associated with the assessment, evaluation, delivery, and maintenance of parenteral nutrition, as applicable; Performs tasks associated with educating, supporting, and advocating for patients and clients to understand and manage their weight status and associated risks using nutritional, behavioral health, medical, surgical, pharmacotherapeutic, and exercise and physical activity interventions, as applicable; Performs tasks associated with the collaboration and education of patient/family members, and medical team members to better manager diabetes, while minimizing short and long-term diabetes complications, as applicable; Performs tasks associated with cardiac rehabilitation competencies in accordance with the CCRP Exam Blueprint and the CCRP Candidate Handbook, as applicable; Performs tasks associated with direct interactions with individuals at risk for, or diagnosed with, any type of malignancy or pre-malignant condition, in a variety of settings, as applicable; As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
