NewExperienced Automotive Technicians Needed Central GMC of NorwoodExperienced Automotive Technicians NeededNorwood, MassachusettsResponsibilities:- Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles' transmissions to identify any issues or malfunctions- Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and software to assist in diagnostics and repairs- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out transmission components- Follow manufacturer guidelines and technical instructions for repairs and maintenance- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools- Keep accurate records of work performed and time spent on each vehicle- Provide exceptional customer service and communication to ensure customer satisfaction- Strive to complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in automotive transmissionsRequirements:- Experience with CDK and Xtime preferred - Previous experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician- Strong knowledge of automotive transmission systems and components- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions- Strong problem-solving skills- Excellent customer service and communication skills- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining quality work- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
