Perform clinical intake with patients to include taking and recording vital signs and pertinent history in patient's chart (electronic medical record), patient data collection (e.g., chief complaint, allergies, medical history including current medications, social history, vital signs, etc.). Completion of Medical Assistant training program for the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or registration from the American Medical Technologists (AMT), or any other recognized certifying body approved by the Board.
