a variety of teaching techniques; Present lectures, and supervise class activities, on topics appropriate to the course material; Instruct students in course content and provide learning opportunities in and out of the classroom to achieve course and programmatic objectives; Critique performance on various assignments to measure the quality of learning, to facilitate skill building, to challenge students' assumptions, and to reinforce. Under the collaborative leadership of the Chair of the Department of Nursing, Dean of the Ruth Whitaker Holmes School of Behavioral and Health Sciences, and Dean of the Graduate School, the Program Director of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Program is responsible for the leadership, administration, and development of and teaching in the PMHNP educational program.
