At least seven (7) years of recent, relevant hands-on experience within the last ten (10) years in the operation, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and assessing of U.S. Navy Auxiliary equipment including, but not limited to: Boat davits (Welin Lambie, Vest, constant-tension, all-electric, hydraulic); cranes (knuckle-boom, well-deck, gantry, topside-rotating, bridge, articulated/folding); winches and LCAC recovery winches; capstans; anchor windlasses; ramps; sliding padeyes; steering systems and fin stabilizers (including LCS Ride Control); and CPP hydraulics and associated PLC controls and electric/electronic monitoring equipment. Conduct Assessments, Inspections, and Grooms determining equipment condition and out of specification settings; observe operation of the equipment by ship's force to witness the full range of performance, when possible; utilize appropriate measuring equipment to obtain data for evaluation; evaluate findings and make adjustments & repairs to the maximum extent possible during the time available.
