The candidate will supervise student internships and other field experiences, advise and mentor students, hold office hours as designated by the University, engage in program development, curriculum reviews, and assessment of student learning, provide support for program coordination and administration (e.g., recruitment, admissions, programming), and serve on Departmental, School, and University committees. State licensure or certification in teaching elementary education (candidates who are licensed in other states can submit to the Virginia Department of Education’s licensure department to obtain a postgraduate professional license for the Commonwealth of Virginia).
