Under the supervision of the Department Head, Public Services, the Coordinator of Teacher Education Programs provides leadership for assigned teacher education programs, coordinates curriculum and course offerings, teaches Education (EDU) and cooperative education courses, advises students, supports and evaluates part-time faculty, coordinates field-based learning experiences, and leads ongoing program development and evaluation in accordance with North Carolina Community College System requirements, applicable Educator Preparation Program requirements, articulation agreements, and College policies. Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) seeks a student-centered, innovative, and collaborative Coordinator of Teacher Education Programs to provide leadership for the Colleges Early Childhood Education, Residency Licensure/Educator Preparation Program (EPP), Associate in Arts in Teacher Preparation, and Associate in Science in Teacher Preparation programs.
