Master's degree in counseling, student development, educational leadership or education administration preferred;
Professional academic advising experience, including developmental and proactive advising services to students in transition;
Demonstrated commitment to supporting students and their success in a diverse working and learning environment;
Communication and interpersonal skills necessary for advising and coaching students through use of technology, and in one-on-one, small group and large group settings;
Evidence of experience collaborating with a wide variety of student support services;
Demonstrated ability to independently learn new information, interpret it with attention to detail and accuracy;
Experience with various computer applications, web technology, student records, basic software, and other technologies used in the provision of effective academic advising services.
