Good verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software Ability to read and write, including interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as writing routine reports and correspondence and speaking effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers/clients Computer skills sufficient to operate a laptop, including sending and receiving emails, and the ability to learn Field Data Collection (FDC)/Inspector Gadget to input data and prepare reports Mathematical skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Reasoning ability to understand and perform instructions in writing, verbal, and diagram form Ability to accurately complete field-testing documentation and detailed figures Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, overnight and travel as needed. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology or related field (Master's degree preferred) preferred Previous experience in environmental research, assessments, and project management preferred Previous experience in an A/E/C firm preferred Proficiency in data analysis, GIS Software and technical report writing preferred Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria), may or may not be required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role Ability to pass a background check screening Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills Ability to solve problems, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Knowledge of environmental regulations, best practices and safety procedures Highly organized and able to multitask Self-driven and dynamic in a team environment.
