REQUIREMENTS (continued): Ability to use a variety of tools, meters and schematics to troubleshoot all electrical and electronic equipmentAbility to work with little to no supervisionExtensive knowledge of and the ability to diagnose problems, repair and/or replace electric/electronic controls, boilers, chillers, air handling units, pumps, ac inverters and unitsStrong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to train others to complete tasks and projectsStrong supervisory skillsAbility to operate heavy equipment. Under the direction of the Plant Facilities Manager, the Journeyman Electrician monitors and maintains all electrical equipment, lighting, assists in telecommunication/data, snow removal, and general maintenance of the complex which is comprised of the Arena, Expo's, and Conference Center.
