This requires a finance leader with direct experience in digital advertising, retail media, or ads monetization — including a strong understanding of the business of buying and selling ads, pricing, advertiser return on investment, campaign performance, inventory monetization, and the tradeoffs involved in scaling an advertising business. Strong understanding of the business mechanics of advertising, including how ads are bought and sold, how campaigns are measured, how pricing and inventory monetization work, and how advertising investments translate into revenue, margin, and advertiser/customer outcomes.
