The Nurse investigator uses their nursing skills and familiarity with client care to review medical and other records obtained during investigations, summarize patient medical conditions, care provided or not provided to patients, and identity other patient-care concerns in patient abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation cases and, when necessary, provider fraud cases.
