Skills in arterial line management, noninvasive ventilation management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line care and management, continuous intravenous sedation, cerebrovascular accident care, head injury care, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, intravenous vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, seizure care, intravenous access, triage, and care for traumatic injuries. The role includes variable day shifts, emergency nursing procedures, patient assessment, clinical documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
