Through our global service centers and a network of experienced providers, we deliver medical and security assistance to help our customers travel with confidence. AIG Travel is a socially responsible and inclusive organization that meets the diverse needs of leisure and corporate travelers alike. Responsibilities Include: The role of an Express adjuster is to investigate, evaluate and resolve claims for Trip Cancelations, Travel Post Departure events (trip interruption, trip delay, medical, travel inconvenience) and baggage/personal effects losses.  This requires accurate and thorough documentation review, investigation when necessary, and resolution action plans based upon the applicable law, coverage and supporting evidence.  Provides on-going communication to the appropriate stake holders through the life of the claim.  Express adjusters should expect to spend 50% - 75% of time conversing verbally with stakeholders.  This role involves high claim volume, low claim exposure (less than $25,000), non-litigated claims with no complex liability issues. Basic Qualifications:  State specific adjuster licensing is required and must be obtained within two (2) months of the business initiating the licensing process. Maintains high standards of customer service. This includes prompt contact and follow up to complete timely and accurate investigation, damage evaluation and claim resolution in accordance with regulatory and company standards. Conducts a thorough investigation of coverage, liability, and damages. Must document facts and maintain evidence to support claim resolution. Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements in all applicable jurisdictions. Establish appropriate loss and expense reserves with documented rationale. On-going review of reserves required through life of file. Demonstrate technical efficiency through timely, consistent execution of best claim handling practices and claim handling guidelines. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers. Maintain and manage diary system to effectively manage pending claims inventory. Proficiency in Desk Management, time management and dealing with difficult customers. Preferred Qualifications: What you’ll need to succeed.  Our ideal candidate will have the following: Claims experience in Auto, Warranty and Fast Track claims groups is preferred but not required. Proven customer service experience. Strong time management with the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication.
