Cares for patients 16 years and older with primary cardiac diagnoses including heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, CT surgery (CABG, valve repair/replacement, VATS/thoracotomy), IABP therapy, Impella insertion, post PCI, pacemaker insertion, ablation, arrhythmia, and STEMI/NSTEMI. Strong cardiovascular nursing experience required, including skills such as arterial line management, central/PICC line care, ventilator management, IABP, Impella, CVVHD/CRRT, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
