Job Responsibilities: * Serve as the primary technical leader for weekend/off-shift manufacturing operations * Make timely, high-quality decisions in ambiguous, high-pressure situations * Balance production output with safety and quality, including stopping work when necessary * Lead through influence across cross-functional teams without direct authority * Train, mentor, and develop technicians while maintaining accountability * Train and coach technicians on high-precision manufacturing processes * Translate engineering requirements into clear, actionable floor instructions * Build trust and credibility through hands-on leadership and engagement * Reinforce both procedural execution and underlying technical rationale * Troubleshoot non-conformances in real time using structured problem-solving methods * Distinguish between process drift and systemic/design issues * Escalate complex engineering or system failures appropriately * Ensure accurate documentation of issues and actions in systems such as Jira * Serve as the communication link between weekend execution and weekday engineering teams * Identify gaps in work instructions and process documentation * Provide data-driven feedback to improve upstream engineering processes * Maintain production flow, rhythm, and operational stability * Ensure effective shift transitions and team readiness * Verify technicians have required tools, materials, and instructions * Support a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment Required Qualifications: * Bachelor"s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical experience * 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience * Proficiency with NX (CAD) and Teamcenter (PLM) * Experience with Jira, Slack, Odoo, or similar ERP tools * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems * Experience in FOAK or rapidly scaling manufacturing environments * Ability to work required night/weekend/on-call shifts as needed Preferred Qualifications: * 8+ years in high-complexity assembly environments * Experience with electric motor-adjacent insulation systems (e.g., stator winding, VPI, taping, high-voltage isolation) Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
