The Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer (SW) partners closely with hardware, firmware, optical, and operations teams across every phase of the NPD process, defining software architecture in Discovery, prototyping critical station software in Eng Proto, hardening and releasing test software through EVT/DVT, and owning deployment, monitoring, and release stability through PVT and Launch. This role is responsible for architecting and delivering the modular test software frameworks, device communication layers, automated CI/release pipelines, and production data systems that enable Matterport's contract manufacturers to operate, debug, and improve test stations at scale.
