Preferred qualifications may include: • Interest in biological sciences, bioinformatics, data science, project management, computer science, or interdisciplinary research • Familiarity with Python, R, Excel, or other organizational and computational tools • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional research setting • Interest in open science, reproducible research, and scientific teamwork Students from programs such as Information Sciences and Technology, Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and related fields are encouraged to apply. Depending on project needs and student background, responsibilities may include assisting with data organization and analysis, literature review, research workflow support, meeting coordination, documentation, communications, progress tracking, and other project-related tasks that help advance NCEMS programs and initiatives.
