Director of Sales on priorities and prospecting approach within the market • Acquire new clients, grow revenue from existing clients and strengthen customer relationships • Prospect and secure sales meetings through existing relationships as well as cold calling locally, regionally and nationally • Meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly corporate revenue and prospecting goals • Research and identify industries and organizations to pitch sponsorship/hospitality opportunities while also tracking local, regional and national trends/emerging markets • Maintain a high level of customer service to existing and new corporate clients • Regularly attend networking & community events to build professional network and identify/develop sales opportunities • Work in coordination with team to ensure proper execution of partner assets and maintain strong relationships • Maintain sales pipeline and weekly forecast • Other related duties as may be assigned. Required skills / experience:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or the equivalent training & experience • 3-5 years of sales experience with an emphasis in professional league or governing body, major league sports team, media (TV, Radio) and/or entertainment sponsorship sales • Proven success in exceeding challenging sales objectives by developing highly strategic corporate partnerships in a competitive marketplace • Strong understanding of the practices and principles related to sales process and execution of corporate partnerships including prospecting, analytical, presentation, time management and organizational skills • A self-motivated leader with a high level of initiative, inner drive and attention to detail that is adept at working both independently and as part of a team • Passionate, curious, proactive, and creative with an internal drive for professional development.
