Requirements for Operations Manager: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 8+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in steel or aluminum - 8+ years of progressive leadership experience - Strong financial management knowledge and business acumen - OSHA certification preferred - Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or plant operations environment - Strong understanding of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, HR) - Familiarity with steel manufacturing equipment and processes preferred - Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and operational best practices - Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Demonstrated ability to build accountability and lead by example - Excellent team-building, decision-making, and people management skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively - Ability to work both independently and within a team environment .
