While their primary responsibility is the management and oversight of escrow operations, they may, as business needs require, assist with or perform escrow functions, including communication with transaction parties, preparation and review of closing documents, preparation of Closing Statements (HUD/CD), coordination with lenders, attorneys, buyers and sellers, conducting closings as permitted by local custom and applicable law, and overseeing post-closing activities, including disbursement, balancing, and file completion. Escrow Operations Managers provide leadership, guidance, and escalation support throughout the closing process, proactively addressing operational challenges, removing obstacles, and ensuring effective coordination among internal teams and external parties.
