Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation, for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures, as required. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as an Radiologic Technical Assistant (RTA). Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a health care setting is preferred but on-the-job training will be provided. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Must hold an applicable state X-Ray operator license. This position will operate a variety of heavy equipment and used in the laying of asphalt materials. Maintenance of equipment and hand work related to asphalt paving should be expected.This is a seasonal position that generally requires travel through Northern Minnesota and North Dakota with other work locations as assigned. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.* Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
