Must be able to operate visual acuity monitors, applanation and contact tonometers, pachymeter, visual field testing, lensometer, manual keratometer, OCT, fundus camera and fluorescein angiography, automated refracter/keratometer, topographer/tomagrapher, IOL master, A-scan biometer, potential acuity meter, brightness acuity test, and slit lamp. Prepares patients to be seen by physician, assist with ophthalmic surgery evaluations including appropriate work up and diagnostic testing along with patient education, assist with surgical procedures to include instrument set up, must be able to administer of topical medications or diagnostic drugs prescribed by physician related to testing and treatment.
