The position requires the successful candidate to clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed, follow policies and procedures, conduct yourself in a courteous and respectful manner, be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done safely and efficiently, which may require some general labor work outside of equipment operations, and occasionally deal with customers and members of the public. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating equipment that may include, but is not limited to front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, excavators, skid steers, milling machines and other pieces of equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
