Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Operate and maintain boilers, boiler controls, boiler drying and air filtration equipment and moisture separators and their drain systems Lubricate compressed air systems Correct PH in the water entering tubers and perform laboratory water tests and other water chemistry tests as necessary In accordance with EPA, OSHA and other environmental and safety regulations, safely and efficiently operate: Enter test results and equipment operational data into spreadsheets and data collection systems and analyze the data for trends and report out as needed Powerhouse equipment such as heat transfer and combustion systems Steam and condensate return systems Piping systems and pressure vessels Operate Allen Bradley DCS and other computerized systems Inspect and repair equipment and piping, including that above the powerhouse roof as scheduled or as required to maintain reliability and safe operations Operate and maintain: Open and close large valves, handle heavy weight in excess of 80 pounds, and operate boiler soot blowers Natural gas, fuel oil heating systems, pumps and pumping systems Water treatment systems including salt brine, water softeners, de-aerating heater, flash tanks, hot well filters, condensate return, chemical injection pumps, etc. Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma/GED A minimum of one years experience with operations of boilers and boiler controls Must be at least 18 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment contingencies Ability to work any and/or rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime if applicable Basic computer skills Must provide basic tools.
