Qualifications: Required: High School graduate or GED equivalent Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology One year work experience in an Ophthalmology Practice BLS Certification from the AHA Preferred: Skill in Photography including fluorescein angiography Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. Assists the Ophthalmologist in the Eye Clinic by collecting data, administering treatment ordered by an ophthalmologist, and supervising patients.
