Working collaboratively with ophthalmology residents, fellows, and attending physicians, the APP will evaluate patients, perform comprehensive histories, physical and ophthalmic examinations, and assist in the assessment and management of ophthalmology consults from the Emergency Department, operating rooms, and inpatient units. This role is designed to improve timely access to ophthalmic care, enhance consult efficiency, and expand the Department of Ophthalmology's clinical capacity.
