Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; Education: appropriate nursing degree; State licensure to submit; Experience: minimum of 2 years ICU experience; Location Requirements: candidates within a 50-mile radius; Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week; Required Qualifications: RN licensure, valid drivers license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, 2 years recent ICU experience, ability to read and interpret telemetry strips, pass/fail exam during orientation with a 90% passing score; Additional Information: Open book exam on skills learned for orientation, neuro surgery patients (training available), willingness to float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU, RTO needed within the first 7 days; Responsibilities include titration of drips such as vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics, as well as troubleshooting ventilator and telemetry equipment. This position involves providing critical care in a fast-paced ICU setting for adult and pediatric patients, including those with neurological, respiratory, renal, and surgical conditions.
