We offer mentorship for new grads, specialty support, and flexible scheduling in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.<ul><li>Full-time preferred, 40 hours per week</li><li>Part-time and PRN candidates considered</li></ul>Caseload & Specialty Areas<ul><li>Diverse outpatient orthopedic caseload, including:<ul><li>Sports injuries</li><li>Pre and post-operative rehabilitation</li><li>Injury prevention and performance conditioning</li></ul></li><li>Specialty areas supported, including:<ul><li>Blood Flow Restriction Therapy</li><li>Hand Therapy</li><li>Pediatrics</li></ul></li></ul>New grads are welcome! Dignity Healths Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) is a non-profit Community clinic organization comprised of more than 40 health centers located primarily from Ventura to Templeton, spanning the coast.

Job Summary and Responsibilities In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy, the Physician's Assistant is credentialed with advanced training in areas of primary health care for adult and pediatric patients, including, but not limited to: taking health history, performing physical examination and psycho-social assessments, management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Provides wellness care and urgent care in collaboration with physician members of health care team. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>PA State Certification.</li><li>Maintain a work pace appropriate to given work-load.</li><li>Make independent decisions or exercise judgment based on appropriate information.</li><li>Accept and carry out responsibility for direction, control and planning.</li><li>Perform complex and varied tasks.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies</li><li>1-3 years prior PA experience</li></ul>***This position will support our orthopedic services at Arroyo Grande and French Hospital.
