Apply and remove casts, splints, braces, and other orthopedic devices • Educate patients and caregivers on injury care, cast care, and use of crutches, walkers, and other DME • Adjust and maintain traction equipment and orthopedic tools • Support orthopedic physicians, surgeons, and sports medicine providers during patient care • Escort patients to exam rooms, radiology, and other departments • Perform patient intake and discharge under provider supervision • Document patient interactions in the electronic medical record • Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and safety guidelines • Stay current with organizational policies, EPIC workflows, and required trainings. Who You Are: Knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Skilled in applying and removing orthopedic casts, splints, and braces Comfortable educating patients and demonstrating mobility aids Able to collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff Organized, efficient, and capable of managing time and resources Experienced with basic computer use and EMR systems.
