Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa, and chocolate.</p><p/><p/><p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-time<br/><strong>Shift(s) Available:</strong> Availability for both 1st and 2nd shift required<br/><strong>Compensation:</strong> $20<br/><strong>Sign-On Bonus:</strong> $1500<br/></p><p><br/><strong>New, easy-to-apply options are available for this role: chat with our recruiting assistant Ana at careers.cargill.com or text CargillJobs to 60196.</strong></p><p/><p/><p><strong>Benefits:</strong><br/></p><ul><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription </li><li>Drug Insurance</li><li>Health and Wellness Incentives</li><li>Paid Vacation and Holidays</li><li>401(k) with Cargill matching contributions</li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)</li><li>Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li><li>Employee Discounts</li></ul></div></div><div style="padding:10px 0px;border:1px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1em;margin:0px"></h2></div><div><p><strong>Principal Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Troubleshoot, operate, and monitor packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency</li><li>Accurately verify, document, and record production quantities produced and/or consumed</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members and management during shift handovers and throughout daily operations</li><li>Ensure all packaged products meet food safety requirements and customer quality specifications</li><li>Perform routine, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment</li><li>Understand, follow, and comply with all safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times</li><li>Safely climb on trucks and railcars as required to support operational activities</li><li>Operate track mobile equipment to move railcars in accordance with safety and operating procedures</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and business needs</li></ul></div></div><div style="padding:10px 0px;border:1px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1em;margin:0px"></h2></div><div><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship</li><li>Must be 18 years or older.</li><li>Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)</li><li>Basic use of a computer</li><li>Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)</li><li>Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)</li><li>Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation</li><li>Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts, with advance notice<br/><br/></li></ul><p/><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 3–5 years of forklift operation experience required</li><li>Experience operating machinery and/or industrial equipment </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or military experience</li><li>Experience in performing routine, preventive, and troubleshooting maintenance on packaging equipment</li><li>Prior experience working around railcars and performing operational tasks such as equipment access and railcar movement </li><li>Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office  </li><li>High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of two years of equivalent relevant work experience</li></ul><p/><p/><p/><p>Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
