How you'll make an impact in this role:
Provides basic and advanced life support treatment, care and evaluation of patients.<ul><li>Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes the ill or injured patient under the direction and incollab oration with a physician and/or Registered Nurse.</li><li>Initiates and implements interventions based on transport team protocols. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition and treatment, as appropriate.</li><li>Provides population specific education to the patient and family about the patient's illness and therapeutic interventions.</li><li>Inspects, maintains and cares for equipment to ensure safety of the transport team, patients and public.</li></ul>

What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:<ul><li>Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li><li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li><li>Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.</li><li>Paramedic credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.</li><li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.</li></ul>
