li>When assigned to the Residential Hall Security Program, under the general supervision of the CSO Supervisor: Monitors residents, visitors, employees, and vendors entering and exiting residence halls to ensure only authorized individuals are provided access; ensures residence hall entrances are locked, when required; conducts campus safety checks on foot or in a vehicle; reports to the University Communications Center safety and security issues such as broken doors, locks, and windows, suspicious or prohibited activity, hazards, and other issues affecting the safety and security of the residence halls; maintains close working relationships with residence hall staff and other campus partners; maintains guest logs and activity reports, provides room lockout assistance, and performs other related clerical duties as necessary; maintains professionalism while enforcing safety and security protocols; provides courteous and respectful information and assistance to students and others. Specific Responsibilities:
- When assigned to Parking Enforcement duties, under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Transportation & Parking: issues citations, boots and tows vehicles; maintains PARCs equipment; performs parking office duties when assigned including selling parking permits, enters permit data and violations, and performs related clerical duties; may operate departmental vehicles and is responsible for general condition and cleanliness of assigned vehicle.
