The teaching hospital opened recently and the caseload is growing steadily; in our first six months of operation the laboratory received approximately 150 cytology and fluid analysis submissions, together with approximately 1,000 hematology, chemistry, urinalysis and endocrinology cases. Services provided include primary care, emergency, anesthesia, cardiology, critical care, dermatology, dentistry, exotics, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, clinical pathology, anatomic pathology, and surgery.
