Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a compact state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); at least 1 year of long-term care experience; long-term acute care experience; competency in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, catheter care, enteral feeding, intravenous therapy, infection control, fall prevention, patient and family education, and emergency procedures. The care environment supports adults and geriatric patients, with interdisciplinary services including physical therapy, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, unit secretary support, and rapid response teams.
