The role provides care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures and interventions, including coronary artery bypass grafting, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, ablation, and Watchman procedures. Care includes management of amiodarone, diltiazem, nitroglycerin, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, isoproterenol, milrinone, and argatroban infusions, including some titration.
