In collaboration with clinical and IT partners, Corporate Compliance, Legal Services and Revenue Cycle Trainer-Auditors, this role is responsible for development and implementation of all patient access policies, procedures and training curriculums to support Summa's mission, vision, and values, while promoting efforts to improve front-end all patient-facing revenue cycle activities including Front-End Revenue Cycle processes and the patient financial aspects of the Back-End Revenue supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to achievement of financial and key statistical indicator goals, revenue cycle training for both hospital-based and Summa Health Medical Group employees, periodic audits and appropriate follow-up with department leaders to ensure compliance with regulatory and system policies and procedures., and providing strategic leadership for customer service, financial assistance, and early out/bad debt collections vendor management.
